The New Jersey Electrical Group is an organization open to members of the electrical industry in South Jersey. Our main goal is to promote professionalism and education for its members.
Monthly dinner meetings are held on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursday of the month for the various chapters of NJEG.
Continuing Education credits are given at each meeting for all paid members. Also, current updates and changes in the Uniform Construction Code and any changes in the Statutes that affect contractors are made known to the members to assist them in the performance of their work in compliance with the codes in effect in the State of New Jersey.

We are happy to announce that we have an agreement with IAEI South Jersey chapter of International Association of Electrical Inspectors to provide the continuing education credits for our members.

Soares Book on Grounding Chapter 1 & 2
Chapter 1 will meet May 9, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the Tuckahoe Inn located at the foot of the Beesly Point Bridge. The Instructor is scheduled to be Kevin Muller.
Chapter 2 will meet May 16, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the Wedgwood Country Club in Turnersville on Huffville Road. The Instructor is scheduled to be Suzanne Childers.
Chapter 3 will meet May 2, 2013 at 6:30 PM at Villa Fazzolari located at 821 Harding Highway rt 40, Buena, N.J. Colonial Electric will Sponsor the Meeting.The Instructor is scheduled to be Rick Napier.

Other meetings of interest in the area are as follows: SJEIA meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Italian Gourmet Restaurant located on the corner of Jimmie Leeds and Pitney Road. Dinner cost is $21.00 per person, and continuing ed credits are given to members who attend the meetings. Non-members may attend, and if they wish credit,the cost is $40.00 plus dinner.The next scheduled meeting is May 21,2013, starting at 6PM. www.sjeia.org
Another meeting of interest is IAEI, South Jersey Chapter, which meets the 2nd Tuesday of every other month at the Indian Chief Restaurant located on Route 70 just north of Route 541 in Medford, NJ. The next meeting is May 14,2013, at 6PM. Cost for dinner is $20.00, and there is always a lively discussion of code issues, DCA rulings, and other pertinent information is available.
